ENVIRONMENTAL DEFENSE FORUM: A CLIMATE CHANGE-FOCUSED TOWN HALL
Panel discussion with environmental experts, advocates, and elected officials
Between budget cuts, legislative attack and anti-scientific propaganda, climate science is under unprecedented threat and we need our Congressman to take action.
For months, constituents from NJ 11th For Change have written, called and shown up to Rep. Frelinghuysen’s office seeking accountability and transparency.
Rep. Frelinghuysen claims he is “not a climate change denier” yet he has voted against clean water, clean air, public safeguards and public lands. Join NJ 11th For Change for a panelist-led discussion about environmental science, climate change, and how recent Congressional bills and votes will affect efforts to safeguard the environment.
Hear first-hand accounts from leading environmental activists, local officials, climate scientists, and environmental protection agencies about how these policy changes affect us all and what we can do to help. The Congressman is invited to attend but has not yet responded.
